I recently bought a pair of pants at Tarocash and, based on the sales assistant’s recommendation, had the length and width altered. They told me it would take an hour, so I waited. After an hour, I returned to try them on, only to notice that the edges were sticking out awkwardly. The store agreed to fix the issue, but after waiting another 30 minutes, the problem persisted.

The sales assistant’s attitude was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of addressing my concern, they started assisting other customers and told me that “this is how all the pants turn out,” and that there was nothing more they could do to help. I paid AUD 70 for the alterations, and I expect a proper result—why should I settle for pants that aren’t even properly finished?

I’ve attached a photo showing pants I purchased from another store where the alterations were done perfectly, with no sticking edges like what I experienced at Tarocash. This was a frustrating experience with terrible service, poor-quality alterations, and even worse customer service. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Contacted Will in regards to a Suit jacket I had purchased at tarocash bendigo store and they had shut early. My son had driven two hours to pick it up and I couldn’t contact the store as they were shut, Will had made numerous calls to organise the store manager at bendigo to meet me on Sunday morning to open the shop to get the coat, another two hour drive back to Bendigo,thanks so much Will for going out of your way to help me, cheers Rick

I attended the Spencer Street store yesterday on the 7th of February and both female staff were friendly, enthusiastic and efficient in serving me.
I bought a great suite I'm very happy ? with the quality.

Mays and luchana were the best help I have ever had in a clothing store. I came in with a pair of pants that I wanted to wear to a wedding, and Mays styled me out in a complete outfit that looked amazing! No request was too difficult for them. Their service alone has made me a loyal customer. Thank you!!

Really enjoyed shopping today.
Big guy (I didn’t get his name, sorry!) new manager I believe, really helpful. Had a great chat about the sizing and variety of stuff at the moment.

I don't give 5 stars often but this particular experience is one that was well worth.

I came into the store with a bit of a plan on buying clothes but still lacking real direction.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a friendly smile and the offer of genuine sounding assistance from a man named Jay.

Despite my rather specific requests and the pace in which i asked them, as well as other customers in the store, Jay not only met my demands but pushed further and challenged me on some of the clothes i sought and recommended me other items as well.

Unfortunately when I came back to see Jay later that day he wasn't there but was instead helped by Chris, who even though only had 15 minutes left to close, still helped me out a bit more with finding the right outfit.

So major shoutout to both Jay and Chris for their amazing customer service and outstanding product knowledge. Both great employees for your business and will defs be back soon!
